Updating the COME App

Update when COME asks, or when the app keeps misbehaving. Otherwise there's no need.

Do You Need to Update?

  1. Does the app work normally? Yes → no action needed.
  2. Has COME asked you to update? Yes → update.
  3. Does the app misbehave? Clear its cache first. Still misbehaving → update.
  4. Need COME right now? Use the browser now and update later.

Before You Update

  • Check you know how you sign in, in case you're asked again.
  • Note the installed version (Settings → Apps → COME).
  • Delete old COME APKs from Downloads.

Update Steps

  1. Tap Download COME APK and wait for the download to complete.
  2. Open the file from Downloads.
  3. If Android asks, allow the app you opened it with to install apps.
  4. Android shows Update or Install over the existing app. Tap it.
  5. Open COME.

After Updating

  • Check whether you're still signed in; if not, sign in with your usual method.
  • Open My Matches and check your entries.
  • Look at the version on the app info screen. If it hasn't changed, the update didn't install; see troubleshooting.
